Funeral services for Mary Helen Crowe, 72 of Conroe, will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2003 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Vince Yearwood officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, 2003 from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. In Cashner Funeral Home.

Mrs. Crowe was born on November 20, 1930 in Daviess County, Kentucky to Boyd and Martine Bryant and passed away on March 31, 2003 in Conroe, Texas. She was president of the Ladies Auxiliary for the National Guard and Reserve and a member of South Side Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Crowe of Conroe; daughters, Nancy Jones and husband Gary of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Freda Knight and husband Jerry of San Antonio; sons, Donald R. Crowe of Houston, Walter David White of Conroe, Ronald D. Crowe of Fordsville, Kentucky, James "Doug" Crowe and wife Charlotte of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Kevin Crowe of Conroe; sisters, Maxine Hale and husband James of New Caney and Sadie Bell Yates of Buffalo; brother, Donald C. Bryant and wife Wanda of Beaver Dam, Kentucky;
eighteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren. Many other loving extended family members and friends also survive. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Crown of Texas Hospice, 100 IH 45 North, Box 103, Conroe, TX 77301.
