John Aubian Faulkner, age 60, born June 17, 1942 in Houston, passed away March 31, 2003 in Conroe. John served as a police officer for the city of Conroe and became the first detective in the Conroe Police Department. He later trained as a computer progammer and devloped a love for computers. In recent years he had become very interested in genealogy, finding numerous relatives all over the country.
He is survived by his wife, Marcile; son, John P. Faulkner and wife Kelly; daughters, Robin Smith and husband Keith, and Ginger Dowell and husband T.J.; brother, James O. Faulkner; sister, Bessie Mae Brown; 7 grandchildren, who he dearly loved, Joseph and Kasey David, Chase Hayes, Tyler and Kaitlynn Smith, Trey and Conner Dowell. He will be greatly missed by these and many other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 4th at Cashner Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, April 5th at 10:00 a.m., also at Cashner Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
