The Memorial Service for William Loren McIntyre will be held on Monday June 9, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas with Rev. Charles Smith officiating.
William (Bill) Loren McIntyre passed away May 30, 2003 at Conroe Regional Medical Center. Bill was born on December 3, 1925 in Amite, Louisiana. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and is a graduate of Delgado University. He retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1979, as the Superintendent of the Englewood and the Houston Maintenance Plant. He was the past-commander of the American Legion Post 416 in Houston, Texas and a 32nd degree Mason with membership at the Holland Masonic Lodge in Houston.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, John Homer McIntyre; mother, Lucille McIntyre Lascelles; and his wife of 53 years, Kathryn Lemoine McIntyre. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and David Carter of Willis, Debbie and Dan Clifford of Houston, and Cindy and Allen Foster of Panorama Village. He is also survived by his grandchildren, John Hickson, Stephen Hickson and wife Shelli, Scott Carter and wife Aimee, Jay Carter, Chance Carter, Chris Clifford and wife Robin, Shaw Clifford, Lauren Clifford, Michael Foster, Matthew Foster; and great-grandchildren, Holly Jacob, and Sarah Hickson and Logan Carter.
