Kenneth Dale Raven, 73, passed away early Saturday morning, July 5, 2003, at his home on Lake Conroe.
Born in Victoria, Texas, on October 9, 1929, he was the only child of Cecil and Gladys Raven, loving husband to Ila Ann Raven and loving father to his four children. A Professional Engineer in the state of Texas, Ken was a graduate of The University of Texas in 1950 and member of Tau Beta Pi. He earned a double masters at the Illinois Institute of Technology and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, after which, he was employed by the Tennessee Gas Transmission Company and Tenneco, for 35 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Ila, their children: Mark and his wife Susan, Diane and her husband Pat Gesino, Curtis and his wife Sandy, Douglas and his wife Sherry; as well as his ten grandchildren, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews, neighbors and friends.
Cashner Funeral Home at 801 Teas Road, in Conroe, are in charge of arrangements. There will be a viewing on Monday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and a graveside service held on Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
