Funeral services for Charlotte Ellen Cashner, 84, of Conroe will be held on Friday, August 8, 2003 at 11 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor David Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cashner was born on March 10, 1919 in Dugger, Indiana to Lex and Mollie Quillen and passed away on August 4, 2003 in Conroe, Texas. She was a member of Conroe Bible Church, Bible Study Fellowship, and Conroe Service League. She was a co-founder of the Montgomery County Children's Center. She was a volunteer reader at Giesinger Elementary School and a Senior Friend volunteer at the Conroe Regional Medical Center Hospital.
Mrs. Cashner is survived by her daughter, Debbie Krueger and husband Dick of Conroe; sons, Robert Cashner and wife Frances of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Jeff Cashner and wife Jane of Conroe; brother, Charles Quillen and wife Florence of Port Orford, Oregon; grandchildren, Christie Alli of Boulder, Colorado, Shellee Coley of Nashville, Tennessee, Mollie Cashner of Abita Springs, Louisiana, Emily Laan of Gretna, Louisiana, Keath Krueger of Waco, Aimee Cashner of Conroe, Sarah Krueger of Conroe, Andrew Cashner of Conroe, and Adam Cashner of Conroe; great grandchildren, Kallista Alli of Boulder, Colorado, Quillen and Zealya Coley of Nashville, Tennessee; and faithful companion of eight years, Daisy.
Pallbearers will be Dick Krueger, Jeff Cashner, Robert Cashner, Keath Krueger, Adam Cashner, Andrew Cashner, Kent Coley, and Remy Laan.
