Funeral services for Martin Kelley, 81, of Conroe will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at 3 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Richard Shahan officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethlehem Cemetery in Cut-n-Shoot.
Martin Kelley was born on November 28, 1921 in Conroe, Texas and passed away November 23, 2003 in Conroe, Texas after a lengthy illness. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and witnessed the Japanese surrender at Pearl Harbor. Martin was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Groceville in Cut-n-Shoot and he served his Lord with this body of believers in many capacities through the years.
Martin is survived by his loving wife, Dalpha; son, Glenn Kelley and wife Theresa; grandchildren, Melissa Kelley and Bryan Kelley and wife Laura; brother, Thomas Kelley and wife Jewell. Two great grandchildren, the joys of his life, John Edward Kelley and Jillian Kelley, also survive him. Pallbearers: Charles Green, James Green, Josh Flynt, Rodney Simmonelli, Maurice Holcomb, and Duke Page.
