Funeral services for Peggy Trahan, 64, of Conroe will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 3 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Gene Kendrick officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2004 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mrs. Trahan was born on December 29, 1939 in Cookville, Texas and passed away on January 12, 2004 in Conroe, Texas. She retired after 28 years, making her a pioneer with Southwestern Bell Telephone. Her husband, Henry Trahan, and her brother, Arthur Walker, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Myriah Harvey of Granbury; sisters, Nelda Ann Overall of Conroe and Linda Questa and husband Gene of Houston; sister-in-law, Helen Walker Yates of Bloomberg; brothers, Jerry Wayne Walker and wife Pat of Mesquite and Michael L. Walker of Conroe; step-son, Charlie Trahan of Orange; grandchild, Benny Cameron Harvey of Granbury. A host of other loving extended family also survive.
