Jean Evelyn Goldwait
July 23, 1933 - March 11, 2004



Jean Evelyn Goldwait, 70, of The Woodlands, Texas, united with the Lord on Thursday, March 11, 2004.

Jean was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Willette. Born in Bristol Vermont on July 23, 1933, she graduated from Brandon High School and attended nursing school prior to meeting and marrying the late Harold Benjamin Goldwait. Together they raised seven children. A long-time Woodlands resident and entrepreneur, she owned and operated J. Goldwait Hair Design in Grogan’s Mill for the past 20 years. Prior to that, she owned J. Goldwait Hair Design in Newton, Mass. She was a loving mother devoted to family and faith in Jesus Christ, a patient friend who unconditionally loved all, as well as a “best friend” of many.

Jean leaves precious memories behind to her children; Stephen Goldwait of The Woodlands, Linda (John) Hebert of Grapevine, TX, Laurie Willin of New Waverly, TX, Katie (Bob) Brown of The Woodlands, Matthew (Ruth) Goldwait of Saundersfoot, Wales, Patrick (Kelly) Goldwait of Dripping Springs, TX and Christopher (Janette) Goldwait of Conroe, TX. She will also be lovingly remembered by her 23 grandchildren; Lauren and Douglas Goldwait; Lane and Cooper Hebert; Brandon and Kendra Willin; Benjamin, Tabitha, Nicholas and Abigail Brown; Charles, Oliver and Elizabeth Goldwait; Rylie, Addison, Keagan, Jack , and Caitlin Goldwait; Rachel, Andrew, Maxwell, Madeline and Michael Goldwait. Jean is survived by her brother, Jack Willette of Minnetonka, MN.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday March 14th at Faith Community Church, 5505 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands.
