Funeral services for Eunice Ruth Belvin, 75, of Montgomery will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dr. Rick Young officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 2, 2004 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mrs. Belvin was born on March 19, 1929 in Thomas, Oklahoma and passed away on June 28, 2004 in Houston, Texas. She was a member of the American Business Womens Association and was a past president of the Oklahoma Chapter. She worked for thirty-two plus years with Conoco.
Her son, Jimmy Dale Messenger, and sisters, Norma Lee Cook and Mary Anna Osteen, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Belvin of Montgomery; daughter, Valerie Simmons and husband Randy of Memphis, Tennessee; son, Sean Belvin and wife Audrey of Memphis, Tennessee; sister, Patricia L. Trager and husband Jack of Greenville, Illinois; brother, Darrell Osteen and wife Carole of Palm Desert, California; grandchildren, Jim Messenger, Ella Rose Belvin, and Gary Sean Simmons; great grandchildren, Dalton Messenger and Mellisa Messenger. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
Pallbearers will be Jim Messenger, Randy Simmons, Gary Simmons, Steven Biehl, Sean Belvin, and Richard Belvin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 20448, Houston, TX 77225-0448 or to the American Cancer Society, P. O.
