A memorial service for Dorothy "Dot" Frances Gallagher, of Conroe will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in St. James Episcopal Church with Rev. Torey Lightcap officiating.
Mrs. Gallagher was born on April 27 in Bronx, New York and passed away on August 24, 2004 in Conroe, Texas. Dot was full of life and loved tennis, bridge, and dancing. She was a professional clown and an active member of the Creighton Community Theater, Mental Health Mental Retardation, and St. James Episcopal Church.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, James John Gallagher; son, Duncan Gallagher; parents, Michael J. and Anna Flood McGilloway; brothers, Jack McGilloway and wife Kay, and Daniel McGilloway Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Deirdre and son-in-law John Dee Claud Jr. of Michigan; grandchildren, Matthew James and Joseph Alexander Claud; beloved sister-in-law, Fran McGilloway of California. Numerous other extended family and friends also survive.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Consider the Lilies for the gentle and loving care they provided. These include Beverly, Marian, Noble T and Susie.
