Funeral services for Danny L. (Buddy) Woodward Niehaus, 53, of Conroe will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 1 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Johnny Johnson and Rev. B. J. Johnson officiating and eulogy by Carlene Cassell. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers: Kenneth Cassell, James Wiggins, Bobby Ringo, Billy Moore, Ralph Noack, and David Barron. Honorary pallbearers: Dylan (Boog) Cassell, John Warren Jr., Koby Maher, and Mike Cross. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 2, 2004 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Niehaus was born on October 1, 1951 in Alice, Texas and passed away on October 31, 2004 in Conroe, Texas. He was a member of Grangerland Baptist Church for 8 years. His hobbies were golfing and fishing, and he was a sports enthusiast.
Danny's parents, four sisters, and one brother all preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Debby Ann Niehaus of Conroe; close companion, Sibie Boo; son, Lance Matthew Goode and his wife Theresa of San Antonio; daughter, Jamie Lynn Barron and her husband David of Agua Dulce; grandchildren, Kennedy and David Barron Jr. of Agua Dulce; sisters, Carol Jean Irvin and husband Jerry of Victoria, Barbara Vanderhof and husband Don of Kerrville, Delores Lee and husband Phil of Corpus Christi, and Sandra Slaton and husband David of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; brothers, Ray Allen Woodward and wife Diana of New Bader, Shelley F. Woodward and wife Anna of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Jerry Wayne Woodward and wife Linda of Midland. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
