Frank Marchione, 86, passed away at home, on Lake Conroe, Montgomery, Texas on November 14, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Frank was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 3rd, 1918. He is survived by his wife, Anita Marie Marchione; two sons, Frank Marchione, Jr. and his wife Mary from Boca Rotan, Florida, and Gary Marchione and his wife Carolyn from Conroe, Texas; four daughters, JoAnn Canu and her husband Frank from St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Anita Malcolm and her husband Dick from Clinton Township, Michigan, Sharon Hall and her husband Mike from Warren, Michigan, and Francie Willis and her husband Michael from Houston, Texas; two sisters, Palma Smaniotto and Mary Butala; and two brothers, Pete Marchione and Larry Marchione. He was most proud of his fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
Frank moved to Longview, Texas from Detroit in 1953. He worked at Lone Star Steel Company until he retired in 1971. Frank and Anita have resided in Montgomery, Texas since 1988.
Frank was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather whose joy and passion for life will always be remembered by his large family and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 in Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in Cashner Colonial Chapel, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2004. Entombment will follow in the Chapel in the Park Mausoleum located in Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Adams, Winston Davison, Raymond Dockum, Kyle Leak, Mark Willis, and Mike Willis, Jr.
