Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many, has gone home to be with his heavenly Father. Funeral services for Jake Jeffie Clayton Jackson Sr., 68, of Willis will be held on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Roy E. Webb and Rev. Frank Terry officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, November 28, 2004 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Jackson was born on February 11, 1936 in Greenville, Mississippi and passed away on November 25, 2004 in Willis, Texas after a long battle with cancer. His parents, Allen W. Jackson and Myrtle Lee Luke Jackson; sisters, Addie Lee Jackson, Clara May Fann, and Katie Frances Jackson; and brothers, Jeffie Lee Jackson and Clifton Carrol Buddy Jackson, all preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Barrentine Jackson of Willis; daughters, Cynthia Phyllis Jones and husband David, Janice Jackson; sons, Joseph Daniel Jackson, Jeffie Clayton Jackson Jr. and wife Tina Marie, and Clifton Scott Jackson and wife Zina Marie all from Conroe, TX; sisters, Margarette Ellen Hester of Porter, TX, Rosie Marie Hollis of Grenada, MS, and Annie Lois Brent of Joaquin, TX; brother, George Allen Jackson of Houston, TX; fourteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
