Graveside services for James Victor Madson, 63, of Conroe will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma with Chaplain Lt. Colonel Boyd Fallwell officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 15, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. being conducted by Father David Kennedy.
Mr. Madson was born on September 14, 1941 in Inglewood, California and passed away on January 14, 2005 at home in Conroe, Texas after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the E.A.A. ( Experimental Aircraft Association) and helped as a delivery person for the Meals on Wheels program.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Madson of Conroe; stepsons, Daniel Thomas of Conroe, Douglas Thomas and wife Linda of Willis, and Tim Thomas and wife Tracie of Conroe; brothers-in-law, Jim Henderson and wife Denise of Trinity, Gus Henderson of Conroe, and Bud Henderson and wife Brenda of New Waverly; grandchildren, April, Danny and Katelyn Thomas, Hailey Thomas, Victoria Thomas, and T. J. Thomas; nephews, Dennis Madson and Ivan Madson, both of Omaha, Nebraska. A host of other loving extended family and friends, including best of friends, Hunter and Sandra Mobley, and friends from Sacred Heart Church also survive.
