Funeral services for Jan Lamoine Hilton, 69, of Conroe will be held on Monday, April 4, 2005 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Tim Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, April 3, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Hilton was born on November 10, 1935 in Monticello, Indiana and passed away on March 30, 2005 in Memorial Hermann Hospital, The Woodlands, TX. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War, and retired from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer with the rank ATC. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association.
Jan is survived by his wife, Barbara Hilton of Conroe, Texas; sons, Robert Hilton of Everett, Washington, and Eugene Hilton and wife Rhonda of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren, Amanda and Adam Hilton of Lexington, Kentucky, stepson, Richard Marshall of Abilene, Texas; stepdaughter, Doris Boswell and husband Mike and there son John of Childress, Texas; sisters, Marilyn Mathew and husband Gerald of Monticello, Indiana, and Gwen Whitlow and husband Leonard of Monon, Indiana;. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
