Funeral services for Jerome Mathis Fesperman, 83, of Conroe will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dr. Mike Davis officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel in the Park Mausoleum in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 6, 2005 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Fesperman was born on April 10, 1922 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas and passed away on June 2, 2005 in Conroe, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jerome and Winnie Lee Fesperman; his brothers, James and Robert Fesperman; and his sister, Winnie Lee Gibson, all of Fort Worth, Texas.
Jerome served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1946 with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering and retired from Amoco Chemicals after 38 years of service. He was an avid golfer and tournament bridge player.
Jerome is survived by his wife of 34 years, Ludie Fesperman; daughters, Mary Ann Wright of Dickinson, Texas. Patricia Zenthoefer and husband Doug of Houston, Texas, Jerri Lynn Smith and husband Mark of Conroe, Texas, and Christine Hait and husband Steve of Columbia, South Carolina; son, Jerome Mathis Fesperman Jr. of Alvin, Texas; stepson, Wayne Budwine and wife Wanda of Santa Fe, New Mexico; stepdaughter, Sheryl Budwine of Las Cruces, New Mexico; grandchildren, Jennifer Wright, Matthew Zenthoefer, Chad Zenthoefer, Sara Smith, Kevin Smith, Ana Sofia Hait, Greg Budwine, Monnie Biggers, Aaron Vigil, and Ryan Vigil; and seven great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
