Funeral services for Joseph F. Crowe, Jr., 82, of Conroe will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Father Antonio Perez officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 27, 2005 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
America has lost another hero. Joseph F. Crowe, Jr. was born on April 24, 1923 in Owensboro, Kentucky. He was a 42 year military veteran and a survivor of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam who went to join his Holy Father on July 23, 2005 where he will be reunited with his wife, Mary Helen Crowe, who passed away in 2003.
He was also preceded in death by his father, Joseph F. Crowe Sr., and mother, Martha Barr Crowe Payne along with brothers, Doug, Bill, Bob, Dick, and James. He is survived by brothers, Paul, Norbert, George, Gene and Marty Crowe; sisters, Patsy Phillips and Martha Zogelman; children, Donald Crowe, Walter David White, Nancy Jones and husband Gary, Freda Knight and husband Jerry, Ronald Crowe and wife Linda, Douglas Crowe and wife Charlotte, and Kevin Crowe; sisters-in-law, Sadie Yates and Maxine Hale; brother-in-law, Donnie Bryant and wife Wanda; fifteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
