Funeral services for Jimmie Derral Coker, 81, of Conroe will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Roland DeLeon officiating. Interment will be in Seale Round Prairie Cemetery, Seale, TX. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 2, 2005 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Coker was born on February 8, 1924 in Seale Robertson County, Texas and passed away on August 1, 2005 in Conroe, Texas. He served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a 1949 graduate of Texas A & M University. After more than 20 years of service, he retired from the City of Pasadena as a civil engineer.
He is survived by his daughters, Marilyn Baker and husband Wayne of The Woodlands, and Jeannie Daniels and husband Rodger of Pasadena; sons, Patrick Coker and wife Mary of Shenandoah, and Mike Coker and wife Carie of Pasadena; grandchildren, Brent, Mark, Lace, Dallas, Stephanie, Amy, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Brittney, Thomas, Matthew, Michael, Kaitlyn, Kristilyn, and Spencer. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
