Funeral services for Cloyce Green Lee, 81, of Conroe will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Grangerland with Rev. Charles Fannin, Rev. Danny Wendt, and Rev. Johnny Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, November 2, 2005 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Lee was born in New Hope, Mississippi on April 27, 1924 to Moses Chester and Dova Jane Lee and went home to the Lord on October 31, 2005 in Conroe, Texas.
Cloyce was a World War II veteran serving in the U. S. Navy and spent most of his career in the oilfields of Conroe, Texas. His lifes joy was working his cattle with his children and grandchildren. He was a Charter member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Grangerland. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #748 in Conroe. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Chester Foy Lee.
Cloyce is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Dorothy Lee; sons, Ronald A. Lee, Royce Lee, Billy Lee and wife Kay Lynn; daughter, Cheryl Belovsky and husband Steve; sister, Shirley Bryant and husband Carl; grandchildren, Billy Bob Lee, Ronald Lee and wife Tiffany, Tammy Erdeljac and husband Chris, Michael Lee, Kyle Lee, Kameron Lee, Toby Belovsky and Laci Belovsky; great grandchildren, Bailor, Brilee, and Brady Erdeljac; special nephew, Shane Bubba Lee and daughter, Misty Lee. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Pallbearers: David Friend, Milton Downs, Larry Hughes, Doug Loomis, Ed Gay, Johnny Wood and C. L. McKinley. Honorary Pallbearers: The Cowboys, Ryan Steadman, Bryan Carr, Ray Welsh, Mike Williams, Matt Carter, Wesley Massey, Scotty Traylor, Delbert Johnson, and Charlie Hairgrove.
