Peggy Jacobs
November 7, 1923 - December 10, 2005

Memorial Services for Peggy Jacobs were held on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Cashner Colonial Chapel with Brother Gary Ladd officiating. Margaret L. “Peggy” Jacobs, 82 was received into glory on December 10, 2005 at her home in Conroe, Texas.

Peggy was born on November 7, 1923 in Atlanta Georgia and graduated from Waco High School. Peggy was a long time member of Woodland Place Baptist Church and a past director of the Montgomery County Hospital District. Peggy was involved in ranching for more than 40 years. She was a dedicated Mother and Grandmother and extremely involved with children in the Magnolia schools with their extracurricular activities.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Hollis C. Jacobs, Mother: Mary Leora Long; Stepfather: Franklin R. Long and Father: Marcus Bowman Roper. She is survived by her children: Larry D. Jacobs and wife, Beverley of Montgomery, Texas; Robert E. Jacobs and wife, Barbara of Dripping Springs, Texas; Thomas W. Jacobs and wife Karen of Carrollton, Texas; Holly Calfee and husband, Bo of Montgomery, Texas. Grandchildren: David Bryan Jacobs, Shana Jacocbs Shivers, Bryan Keith Jacobs, Tami Moore Sikes, L. Tyler Jacobs, Brad Jacobs, Kimberly Jacobs Robinson and Jonathan Jacobs. 20 Great Grandchildren also survive.

Pallbearers were Tyler Jacobs, Gil Shivers, B.J. Sikes, D. Bryan Jacobs, Brad Jacobs, Brian K. Jacobs, Jonathon Jacobs and Philip Robinson. Rich Vanderwalker served as honorary pallbearer.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Janet Roberts, caregivers: Virgil Hill, Fran Smith, Ruth Garza and Sherri Lyon, Renee Authement, R.N. and Carol Ritter from Odessey Hospice.
