A Mass of Christian Burial for Lloyd Nolan Rosenfelder, 64, of Spring will be held on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 3 p.m. in Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church with Rev. Vincent Nguyen celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7 p.m. and the family receiving friends from 5 to 8 p.m.
Mr. Rosenfelder was born on May 10, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois and gave up his courageous 6 year battle against cancer on Tuesday, December 20, 2005. He served his country in the U. S. Navy.
Lloyd was past president of the Oak Ridge High School Football Booster Club. He was a member of Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church and a 6 year member of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Barbara Rosenfelder of Oak Ridge North; sons, Todd Rosenfelder, Mark Rosenfelder and Ryan Rosenfelder all of Oak Ridge North; mother in love, Dorothy Reeder of Grand Prairie; brother, Richard Rosenfelder and wife Alma of San Antonio; special sister, Carolyn Rogers and husband Weldon of Houston; sisters and brothers in love, John and wife Cynthia Reeder of Dallas, Ann Reeder, Mary Reeder, and Mike and Mary Reeder all of Grand Prairie, Becky and Frankie Blair of Dallas, Sarah and Charles Whitaker of Terrell, and Janet and Kirk Tareilo of Lufkin. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
Pallbearers: Richard Rosenfelder, Weldon Rogers, Doug Stephens, Frankie Blair, Anthony Tatom, John Reeder, Mike Reeder, and Charles Whitaker. Honorary Pallbearers: Dan Veto, Glenn Grein, Kelly Mathews, Carl Schiro, Trey Magee, and Damian Law.
Lloyd touched so many lives with his winning spirit, brave smile and never ending faith in Jesus Christ and he will be greatly missed. Our special thanks and love to Carl Schiro of Western Brick and Dr. Raymond Alexanian and the staff at M.D. Anderson Hospital for their care and support.
