Danielle was born on November 18, 1989 in Lake Charles, Louisiana and passed away in an automobile accident on February 16, 2006 in Montgomery, Texas. She was a sophomore at Montgomery High School. Danielle was quick to laugh, or play a prank. She had recently started a job at IHOP on Lake Conroe, where she made an immediate impression as having an upbeat attitude and a wide smile. Danielle enjoyed painting on canvas, listening to music and chatting with friends. She was especially fond of her truck, which she had received for her birthday. Danielle had a wide variety of animals, all of which she loved dearly. She will be missed by her horse, Magic, her heifer, Velvet, her goat, Tina, and mostly by her dog, Buddy. She was a member of the Montgomery/Dobbin 4H Club.
Danielle is survived by her mother, Phyllis and step-dad Brian Stroud, along with her brother, Jared. She is also survived by her father, Charles Martin and step-mother Michele, and grandparents, Martha LeJeune, Lonnie LeJeune, Sue Stroud, Iris Martin, and Charles Martin. Other close family members include her aunts and uncles, cousins, and half-siblings. She will be dearly missed by close friends, Tara Friday, Josh Wright, Tyler Mount, Paige Hawkins, and her boyfriend, Robby Adkins, plus far, far too many others to list. Pallbearers will be Kenneth LeJeune, Dennis Shadden, James Stroud, Kenny Martin, Josh Wright, and Brian Stroud.
A scholarship fund has been set up through the Montgomery/Dobbin 4H Club. Donations can be mailed to the Danielle Martin Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1044, Montgomery, TX 77356.
