Funeral services for Dustin Wayne Cowan, 20, of Conroe will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Brother Michael Heuermann officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 5, 2006 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Matthew Cowan, Tim McDonald, Juan Garcia, John Low, Joseph Fishbiene, Caleb Spence, David Klock, and Bobby Michael.
Dustin was born on June 14, 1985 in Memphis, Tennessee and passed away on April 1, 2006 in Conroe, Texas. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Willis. He participated in Boy Scouts and was active in drama in school. Dustin went to M.D.A. camp.
Dustin is survived by his parents, Sandra and Hal Spence and Terry and Rhonda Cowan, all of Conroe; sister, Kimberly Johnson and husband James of Fort Hood; brothers, Matthew Cowan and Caleb Spence, both of Conroe; grandparents, Kay and Tuft Cowan of Oklahoma and Don and Julia Crittenden of Conroe; great grandparents, Leon and Naomi Low of Conroe; aunt, Jodie Browning and husband Dean; uncle, Donald and Missy Crittenden and kids; nephew, Seth Johnson of Conroe. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
