A memorial service for Bernie Louis Hogue Jr., 78, of Conroe will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 3 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Dearing Jones and Rev. Kim Simmons officiating.
Mr. Hogue was born on October 8, 1927 in Ranger, Texas and passed away on April 29, 2006 in Conroe, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He was a long time member of the VFW and a member of the Conroe Masonic Lodge #748. Bernie was President of the Jaycees in the 1950s. He worked at the Lake Conroe Park.
Bernie's wife, Peggy Hogue, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Priscilla Hogue Wardlaw of Conroe; sons, Bernie L. Hogue III and wife Brenda of Willis and Greg Hogue and wife Susan of Conroe; grandchildren, Nathan Wardlaw, Ryan Wardlaw, Adam Wardlaw, Christian Hogue Haugh, Sarah Hogue Blakley, Jessica Hogue Knight, Michael Hogue, Tara Hogue, and Travis Hogue; great grandchildren, Madeline Haugh, Austin Blakley, and Ashlyn Knight. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
